Revamp of Trondheim Central Station

In the autumn of last year, our Norwegian customer A-Merking AS applied these markings for the municipality of Trondheim. The aim was to re-energise the area outside Trondheim Central Station where lots of passengers pass by every day – and the result has been met with great satisfaction.

The markings are made with a combination of PlastiRoute^®and DecoMark^® material, but are kept in the same bright, light blue colour. This ensures consistency and provides the area with a characteristic look. It took two applicators a total of 16 hours to complete the entire project, which has given the somewhat greyish area a completely new feel.

More precisely, the markings consist of geometric shapes and lines in PlastiRoute^® RollGrip^® and a DecoMark^® map of Norway showing the country’s railway network. The speech bubble placed next to the map contains the names of some of the train station cities. As a fun little gimmick, it challenges passers-by to see if they can place the different cities on the map.

The mix between the roughly textured PlastiRoute^® RollGrip^® and preformed DecoMark^® material is a good example of how our products can be combined to adhere to all customer wishes.
